About the Author
Dr Muzamil Khan — fondly called “Bawa” — was born on Friday 16th March 1956 (3rd Sha’ban 1375 AH) in Onah, a small village near Dadyal in the Mirpur District of Azad Kashmir. Over the decades, he has become a guiding presence for many, combining the roles of teacher, author, counsellor, and spiritual mentor with remarkable humility and dedication.
A prolific writer, he has authored and translated several works, including Endless Grace, The Ark and the Stars, To Educate and Empower. His notable translations — Continual Blessings, All Else Is Futile, Ayyuhal Walad (Guidance for Muslim Students), 40 Letters of Hadrat Sahib, 33 Letters of Hadrat Sahib, 99 Letters of Hadrat Sahib, and Advice from Paradise — make timeless wisdom accessible to the modern reader. Advice from Paradise, in particular, bridges centuries and cultures, offering counsel that is clear, concise, and deeply relevant to anyone navigating life’s challenges.
Since completing his doctorate, Dr Khan has devoted his life to teaching Islamic jurisprudence, counselling those in difficulty, and guiding seekers along the spiritual path. He is passionate about reviving lost traditional practices in line with the Sunnah, and his gift for teaching lies in balancing clarity with compassion — often using humour to open hearts to truth. This gentle wit, paired with a deep understanding of people’s social realities, has allowed him to connect especially well with the youth, sometimes drawing on popular culture to illustrate timeless principles.
As a storyteller, his style is simple yet vivid, his words unforced but full of life. In an age where distractions are many and egos are easily stirred, he continues his work quietly with unwavering sincerity — never seeking acclaim, but embodying the nobility of serving others.
