Dhikr
(Remembrance of Allah)

“So remember Me;
I will remember you.”

— Surah al-Baqarah 2:152

“No people gather together in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it together, except that tranquility descends upon them, mercy envelops them, angels surround them, and Allah mentions them to those near Him.”

— Sahih Muslim

Thursdays, 8pm – Noor ul-Islam Mosque, Bury, Greater Manchester

Each week we gather to remember Allah in the blessed Naqshbandi tradition – open to all, regardless of background or affiliation. These circles uplift the heart, ward off heaviness, and attract Divine mercy, forgiveness, and grace.

More than just dhikr, they are a fellowship of brotherhood and sisterhood – a space to connect with like-minded souls, to find solace in companionship, and to strengthen faith together. The evening concludes with food shared amongst all, nourishing both body and spirit.
